Automation addict

30th of October, 2025

Eventually, I will make a page that houses all my writing, but with just a handful of articles, there's no need. Everything fits neatly enough on my homepage... for now...

One day, I could write a script to help organise my site. Every time I write a new post, for example, the script would add it to my home page. The other articles would be pushed down a spot for the newcomer; the fifth one down removed, to be found by clicking the [More] link.

But right now, I don't need it.

My brain lights up, thinking about making these systems. I love laying the ground work, getting it all right before I do anything useful. There lies my problem. With this site (and beyond!), I am challenging myself to leave making those systems for tomorrow...

It's the "standardise before you optimise" thing, someone said at some point - that's the right way to do it. Getting results first, then crafting your perfect automation pipeline so you can become a professional internet user in Indonesia later.

It's accidentally starting a business.
